Detailed Description This coin was issued by Chandrgupta I on the occasion of matrimonial relations with the Lichcchavi's of Vaishali.
Coin Description Obverse Both king and queen nimbate and a crescent between them. The figure of Kumāradevi is blurred. The object offered to her clearly looks like a circular bangle held over the thumb. Cha gu ndra pta Gupta is only partly visible. Sri-Kumāradeva, Blurred and truncated.
Coin Description Reverse Lion to Sari end over both knees.Back of the throne clearly visible. Monogram on left, roughly drawn; none on right. Lachchhavayah.
