Brief Description Standing in dvibhanga posture the figure of Avalokitesvara displays the varada mudra by his left hand. A lotus stem passes through his left arm, the fore arm of which is broken. He is attended on either side by a seated female figure. The matted crown of the bejeweled figure bears an effigy of his parental Buddha, Amitabha.
