Brief Description A rectangular under tablet, with a covering tablet, bears an inscription in ten lines. It is written in Kharosthi script with black ink. An inscription written in two lines has been exhibited on the one side of covering tablet. In the centre of it, three grooves with remains of fibrous strings are seen. It is apparent that both the tablets were tied together with fibrous string and then sealed with clay. The seal bears the impression of a stamp of the sender. Such tablets were used either as letters or as documents relating to business transactions.
