Brief Description Gold relic casket, stupa shaped.
Detailed Description Golden relic casket simulating the form of a stupa. It is in two separable units. The lower drum (vedika) or receptacle which contained the relics (viz. Accession Nos. 425 to 431), and an hemispherical dome(anda) with a plain cubical harmika and a rounded coping member. The sides and edges of both the units have wrinkles due to frequent handling . There is an aperture at the base of the harmika due to the loosening of the soldering.
