Brief Description Lime Stone- dome Slab showing king Mandhatu sharing the throne along with Indra(Sakra) above and fall of Mandhatu from heaven to the earth below. Mended.
Detailed Description Much multilated dome-slab of a stupa showing the scenes from Mandhata Jataka in three panels. The upper register depicts king Mandhata sharing the throne with Sakra, the king of gods, on reaching the heaven. He desires of ousting even sakra but his evil thoughts cause him to fall down from heaven in a park of his capital city. The middle register shows the fallen king, devoid of all vanity, in his harem left to the care of his maids. The lower register is damaged beyond identification . Mended.
