Brief Description The Physical features of the Queen have been copied from a bust by Chantrey lent by King George V for that purpose.Full-length life-size statue representing the Queen as she was at the time when she ascendedthe throne(1837). Dressed in state-robes consisting of mantle, full length gowns with wide neck,frilled elbow sleeves of wide cuffs, (end)stoles embroidered with St.George Cross,eagle and rose and tasselled rope-girdle.She wears a tiara on the head. The hair-parting line runs through the middle and a coffeure is seen hanging in the form of a loop on each side of the tiara.She holdsin right hand the sceptre, the free end being placed on her right shoulder. The left hand gives shelter to the 'Orb of State'.The left foot is slightly advanced.Her face is turned slightly to the right.
