Brief Description Viragal stone depicting in first row: one man standing holding the head of other man sitting. In the middle row one man standing holding sword and shield, other man standing in thribhanga. In third row worship of Agni by a man standing. Inscription in three lines. (Marati)
Detailed Description Inscribed Viragal in three panels. The lowermost panel illustrates a sati (faithful wife) about to immolate herself in the funeral fire of her husband who died a heroic death. The middle panel depicts the hero about to start a combat with his enemy. The uppermost panel represents the hero seated on a throne in heaven; he is depicted as welcoming his wife who is standing on his proper right side to his heavenly abode.
