Brief Description

Mask of Tarakasura : It is made of splitted bamboo, cloth, clay and jute. The mask is large and brown in colour. Hair, made of jute, is present on the head. Eyebrows are painted with leafy designs. Floral designs are present between the eyebrows. Prognathous mouth with widely open oral cavity and irregular shaped teeth with prominent canines are the features of the mask.

It is used in the Satriya dance drama.
