Brief Description

Attired in an antarvasa with a portion spread on the seat in the form of a fan and an upper garment placed on the left shoulder, the figure of Buddha with a calm facial expression and auspicious lines around the neck is seated in vajraparynkasana on an oblong pedestal. The figure displaying the bhumsparsa mudra is characterized by elongated earlobes, a radiant face with broad forehead, drooping eyes, open smiling lips lit by a benign smile and spiral curls, arrayed almost schematically, that cover the head and ushnisha.
