Brief Description
The intaglio depicts a deity, or possibly a man, engaged in combat with a winged monster.
A sacrificial stand is visible on one side of the image, and below it are a tree and a lozenge-shaped symbol.
There are conflicting attributions for this piece, as it has been listed as Babylonian in the museum register, but a published report suggests that it may actually be Assyrian.
