Brief Description
A set of three copper plates with Brahmi script. A ring with
a seal is attached. The seal depicts a stylized couchant
bull. Above it a crescent and below it a lotus. The plates
belong to Eastern Ganga king Jayavarmma. The ruler is
described as a devout worshipper of Mahesvara. The script is
southern class of alphabet of about 9th century.
