Brief Description

The architectural fragment from the drum of a stupa consists of two panels. The right half of this panel shows the great Decease and the left half, the Cremation. By the side of the funeral pyre are seen two persons extinguishing the fire by pouring out milk from vessels tied to the ends of long sticks.
