Brief Description

This is a figure Bodhisattva Avlokiteshvara carved in the round and standing on a full-blown lotus flower, issuing from a mass of foliage. The statue is nude to the girdle. He wears circular ear-rings, a necklace of beads and a chain in the fashion of yajnopavita.

The front of the base has an inscription of two lines in Sanskrit language.
