Brief Description

Group portrait of Maharaja Amar Singh I of Mewar (Udaipur) ruled 1597-1620 C.E. and five of his sons with two attendants. The Raja is shaded by an umbrella, and a sword a shield and a mace lie beside him. One of the attendants holds a chauri (fly whisk) in his right hand. A fountain playing in the brown foreground. Red background, text in a green label at the top gives names and titles of the princes.
