Brief Description

A royal Mughal lady is standing in the centre of the composition and playing with a firework on a starlit night. The lady is shown wearing lehanga-choli with odhni and ornaments. The many colours, emitting from the sparkler illuminates the dark background. The artist has created a contrast of the dark background to highlight both the illumination of the sparkler and the dimly twinkling stars in the sky. The golden diaphanous dress of the lady and the brilliant jewels that she wears are well juxtaposed with the dark background adding to the beauty of this Mughal lady.

The inner border of floral golden flowers and outer and wide border of pink and green flowers are the high mark of the Mughal style.
