This paper manuscript of Adhyatma Ramayana is derived from Brahmanda Purana and according to the colophon it is written by the Son of Ishvara (god). It is based on the epic Sanskrit literature - Ramayana.
Here the author has presented/interpreted the story of the same in reference with Advaita Vedanta(one of the major ancient schools of philosophy in India).
