Brief Description
This religious text was composed by Ved Viyas,translated into
Persian by Naqib Khan and transcribed by Faqir Chand. This is the
most popular of all the major 18 Mahapuranas. Although it is a
Vaishnavite epic, it has found its way into the literature of all
the languages of India. All its subjects and contents are based on
the Vishnu Purana.
