Brief Description

Farman of Jalaluddin Mohammad Akbar, regarding grant of 140 bighas agricultural land to Sayid Adam and Shaikh Nizam, after the death of Sahikh Aleemuddin and Shaikh Childa, who were granted the sanad of the land by Sher Khan (Sher Shah Suri) from parganas Sambhal, towards madad-i-maash. Further stressing the royal officers not to disturb them in connection of revenue collection. The said jagir was tax free.

This is orginal Farman of Mughal Emperor Akbar, having the Tughra on the four head of the Farman and many seals on the back side.
