Jatin Das was born in the year 1941 in the Mayurbhanj district of Orissa. He received training in arts at Sir J. J. School of Art in Bombay.

Brief Description
A prolific, multifaceted painter, sculptor was Jatin Das. For he was fascinated by the human body that flowed in linear line in his drawings and paintings. He explored tirelessly the linear structures with mediums like conte, ink, watercolour and oil.
